Vision & Mission
We believe that improving the environment without impeding the growth of the world’s economies is perfectly feasible. We believe that reducing climate damage worldwide is fully compatible with the rapid development of all global economies. Both can go hand-in-hand for the benefit of the world and all the species that inhabit it.
It was our founder Frans Bezuidenhout who first recognised that conventional fossil fuel power stations were using their raw material (coal) inefficiently and belching out unnecessary pollution. Living in Africa he was aware also of many communities far from any electricity grid whose lives would be dramatically improved if they had a power source of their own. These issues motivated him to come up with a technology that could answer both needs. The result is Ardau.

Through collaborative works with leading universities and research institutions, Ardau Energy will continue to research, develop and commercialise cost-efficient, clean and dependable energy for the benefit of humankind.
